SuperBlade Module

Each SuperBlade^™ module can accommodate up to two Quad-Core Intel Xeon processors, 1033MHz or 1333MHz FSB, and up to 32GB Fully Buffered DIMM memory running at 533MHz or 667MHz. Each blade module can support two SATA or two SAS Hard drives with built in RAID0 and RAID1 support. An optional InfiniBand mezzanine HCA for high speed network interconnect may be added to accompany the dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. Each blade module can be remotely managed through the addition of the Chassis Management Module to the Blade Enclosure. The common system architecture of the SuperBlade ensures that each blade module is fully inter-changeable.
