ABC Configuration is used to manage monitor sets, per-user customized views, devices and user profiles. It allows for the configuration of device attributes such as IP address, device name, type of motherboard, number of processors, and the type of device being provisioned. A cluster administrator can also define which metrics to track for a given device in addition to setting alarm thresholds and actions to be taken when thresholds are crossed. ABC Configuration is also used to manage global application characteristics, such as e-mail lists.
